Darren Cahill impressed by Jannik Sinner: "But what a fox…"
One of Jannik Sinner’s coaches, Darren Cahill, in an interview with the ATP’s official channels explained what impresses him most about the blue athlete, whom he has been coaching since 2022.
"With him there is never any falsehood. He's passionate, has fun, is not afraid to smile and è even a bit of a joker", explained the Australian coach.
But Cahill è especially impressed by the Blue's desire to win: "He has a great hunger, you can see it in his eyes. I know he è called the fox ("Fox" ed.), but in truth; he has a little tiger in his stomach and he really wants victory".
Cahill explains that with Sinner è he is used to saying things to the face: "If there'è honestyà between the player and the coach, the relationship canò be much better, even if sometimes the truthà hurts a little bit. This è the kind of relationship you always want to have with the player".
