Genoa, Gilardino: "Gudmundsson is doing important things"
Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino spoke to Sky after the 2-2 draw in Udine: "I have to congratulate the boys, two days ago we played an incredible game, spending a lot. Instead they held the field well, I had asked them to sacrifice and to be able to propose. We created many situations, we had a goal cancelled out and built restarts that we had to finalize better".
"We played well, against a strong team, which does not deserve the ranking it has. Then è normal that there is regret for the'final episode and a little regret".
The season goal: "It's to reach 40 points. The team is doing well: è growing, in five days we will meet one of the strongest teams in the league. We will have to rest".
Gudmundsson’s growth: "Albert is doing important things and he has to continue this". The thing I like most about him è how he is sacrificing himself on the defensive end".
