The Vicenza condemns Sunday’s incidents of violence

Vicenza condemns the episodes of violence that unfortunately surrounded the derby with Padova on Sunday.

"Following the serious events that took place yesterday, Sunday, October 29, at the end of the match against Calcio Padova, Società LR Vicenza intends to disassociate itself from and strongly condemn any episodes of physical and verbal violence. These are behaviors that damage the image of the Club and the City itself, in addition to not reflecting the ethical, moral and fair play values that our Società has always tried to pursue and transmit" reads the note of the biancorosso club.

"LR Vicenza would like to express its solidarityà to all the people involved and to the injured fan, to whom we have already addressed our closeness in a private form. Such unspeakable conduct does not represent, finally, the many biancorossi fans who constantly follow the team, at home and away, in a responsible and respectful manner, never failing to provide support and never losing sight, at the same time, of the true values of sport" we read again.
