The yellow on the world champion car, instead of resolving, seems to be getting bigger.

Red Bull failed the crash test ahead of the 2024 Formula 1 championship. This was the indiscretion that had emerged in this delicate phase of preparation for the next championship. And if a certain mystery had circulated about the problems of the new RB20, the words of Helmut Marko in fact confirm the veracityà of the rumors. And, indeed, they add a new element.

It was the website 'Motorsport' that had spoken of a Red Bull not being able to pass the crash tests, according to which the RB20 had in particular failed the test regarding the frontal impact with its own chassis. Helmut Marko, però spoke to 'F1-insider' proving himself not only calm but even heartened by this result that on the surface seems extremely negative.

"If we had passed the first crash test, it would mean that there are problems. It would be proof that we have not worked hard enough, or well enough", glissated Marko. His words thus seem to suggest an extremely ambitious project underway at Red Bull. And above all, the fact that the team that dominated Formula 1 in 2023 è is also on the hunt for even more extreme solutions in the upcoming season to begin.
