A clear triumph at the end of a tournament dominated from start to finish. Rybakina did not betray in the final of the WTA tournament in Brisbane, smashing world No. 2 Sabalenka, who was practically never in the match, 6-0, 6-3. For Kazakhstan it was the sixth title in her WTA career, one of the tastiest, considering who she had beyond the net.

Sabalenka, in fact, had beaten her in the last Australian Open final (January 2023). As a result, Rybakina had more than one reason to win the Brisbane final. To have succeeded in such a bombastic way only makes the victory all the more special, even as we approach the start of the first Slam of the season. Now the challenges between the two tennis players see Sabalenka still ahead but by less margin (5-3).

"Well, what can I say. Interesting match. Thanks for those three games you left me, at least è it seemed that we also fought" the words of the defeated Sabalenka during the award ceremony. Actually, Rybakina’s victory confirms how Kazakhstan is finding her best physical and mental condition. It should be remembered that she is 24 years old and still has several margins for improvement.
