Roma, revolution close: toward farewells Dybala, Lukaku and more
The strategy for the renewal of the Georgian è ready.
Roma soccer market: Daniele De Rossi will lead a very different team next season, after missing out on a berth in the Europa League final and after the chase for the Champions League also became complicated. Several players could make a change of scenery over the course of the summer, and among them also stand out several star players in the squad. Decidedly few, however, appear to be those who are reasonably certain to be confirmed.
Taking stock of the situation è the Sunday edition of the 'Corriere dello Sport', according to which even Paulo Dybala could be part of Daniele De Rossi’s group of expendables. In fact, there is a 12 million euro clause in the Argentine’s contract with Roma, which can possibly be exploited by July 30. Sure to leave è instead Rui Patricio, whose contract weighed not a little for the Giallorossi coffers: the goalkeeper in fact currently receives 6 million a year, and in June he will be free.
The players who will say goodbye also include the many loaned to Roma during the past season. Prominent among them is Romelu Lukaku, but the various Sardar Azmoun, Renato Sanches, Rasmus Kristensen and Dean Huijsen should not be forgotten. Proprietary players who could end up on the market include Smalling, Karsdorp and even Tammy Abraham.
In fact those who should still certainly be at Roma next year are only Svilar, Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino, Cristante, Paredes, Baldanzi, El Shaarawy and captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. All others, however, will be evaluated over the next few weeks and could then say goodbye.
