Luciano Darderi stops at the most beautiful in Lyon

ATP Lyon: Tomas Etcheverry-Luciano Darderi 6-2 6-4

S'interrupted on the most beautiful the adventure of Luciano Darderi at the ATP 250 in Lyon. The Italian player, in fact, was defeated in the semifinals in two sets with a score of 6-2 6-4 by Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry, in about 90 minutes of play, thus seeing his chance to win his second tournament after the one in Cordoba fade away. 

The match started immediately uphill for Darderi, who despite the day of rest appeared less incisive than his opponent, who was able to take control of the match and in a short time snatch twice the service from the blue and win the first partial with a score of 6-2.

In the second set, the Azure managed to get off to a better start and the match was much more balanced. In the eighth game, the Villa Gessell class of 2002 has three balls for a 5-3 lead, but after failing to materialize the first, the other two are well canceled by Etcheverry, who, after passing the chill, manages to place the decisive break in the next game and then close the match on 6-4.

In the final, the Argentine will face the winner of the second semifinal between Bublik and Mpetchi Perricard.
