Men's Italvolley closes its second week in Ottawa, Canada in the best way possible with a clear success against the Netherlands. The Azzurri, in fact, won in three sets (25-18 25-15 25-21) against the Dutch, centering the seventh victory out of eight matches in the Nations League and bringing much closer the qualification to the Olympic Games in Paris.
With a not-at-top Nimir, 9 points today from the Dutch opposite player, second in the VNL top scorers list, Italy è was good at attacking from the start imposing its game and holding on defense. The best scorer of the challenge è Romanò with 18 points, with 3 personal walls of the 9 team total.
