Sachsenring: super pole for Martin, Bagnaia 4th, Marc Marquez on a rampage
A pole with record, but there is also no shortage of controversy.
Jorge Martin will start ahead of everyone in the MotoGP German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring. The Spaniard of Ducati Pramac prints the fastest time, which also coincides with the track record. With him on the front row are two unexpected protagonists: Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez on the Aprilia of the Trackhouse team. Pecco Bagnaia has to settle for fourth position, but the anger è all of Marc Marquez only 13°.
Può smile Martin, confirmed perfectly at ease at the Sachsenring as confirmed by his prodigious time of 1:19.423. Bagnaia è detached by more than three tenths, and precedes Alex Marquez and Franco Morbidelli, ninth the'other official Ducati of Enea Bastianini.
For Bagnaia there'è però also some reason for regret. Pecco’s final lap is in fact thwarted by the yellow flags, exposed by the race direction due to a fall by Alex Marquez. The world champion thus misses the decisive opportunity to get closer to a Martin, however, dominant since the beginning of the weekend.
Among the issues of Saturday German there'è però the thirteenth place of a furious Marc Marquez, slowed down in Q2 by the host Stefan Bradl guilty of actually hindering him by turning at low speed during the Catalan’s flying lap. Precisely for this reason the German will have toà start from the twenty-second place, set back three positions for impeding.
