Irma Testa, originally from Torre Annunziata, è was the first Italian boxer to participate in an Olympics, making her debut in Rio 2016. Nicknamed "The Butterfly", she won a stunning bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Her passion for boxing è began at age 12 thanks to her sister Lucia, quickly bringing her much satisfaction. In her career, she has won two continental golds and a world gold, the latter won in March 2023 in New Delhi.
At only 23 years old, Irma è already considered a predestined in the world of boxing. In addition to boxing, she harbors a desire to continue her career as a policewoman, but first she plans to write new pages of success in her discipline.
Irma Testa’s next goal now è to soar in the ring at Roland-Garros Stadium in Paris, continuing to represent the Italian excellence in women’s boxing for which she è and will remain the face in the future, when she will say no more matches.
