Giovanni Malagò, host of the Morning News program on Channel 5, è returned to talk about the Paris 2024 Olympics: "Italy has repeated in numbers the record of Tokyo. But in these numbers everything è improved, starting with the competitiveness index in which we are fourth in the world, behind the United States, China and Germany. Countries with populations and sports facilities not comparable to ours". 

Imane Khelif case: "We live in an era when, rightly, everyone can" express their opinion, regardless of technical aspects. Doctors and scientists have evaluated the values, they know the parameters of the boxer, and I trust the controlling and competent individuals. This athlete has been competing for years, was already in Tokyo and won the gold in Paris with three fights on points, not by technical knockout".

"Whoever defaced the mural dedicated to Paola Egonu committed an act of madness, no need to spend more words. I don't think Italy is a racist country, but there's a minority that makes us ashamed of what they do", he concluded.
