Napoli wins hard against a goalkeeper-less Parma
Heart-stopping victory for Antonio Conte’s Napoli against fierce Parma. Fabio Pecchia’s team went ahead in the 19th minute thanks to a penalty scored by Ange-Yoan Bonny, who was landed by a clumsy Alex Meret. The challenge continued at a fast pace with the Crusaders challenging the Parthenopeans head-on.
In the second half Napoli tried to increase the pressure but Parma’s fortress held. In the 75th minute the key episode: Zion Suzuki, already cautioned for time wasting, receives the second yellow card for his disjointed intervention on David Neres. Pecchia, having finished the changes, sends defender Del Prato on goal.
A mouth-watering chance for Conte’s boys who first equalized thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s torpedo in 92' then scored the final 2-1 following Franck Anguissa’s mark, skilful in taking advantage of David Neres's assist in the sixth minute of recovery.
