During a lengthy interview given to the microphones of the magazine "Champions", RedBird’s Senior Advisor è spoke bluntly about Milan’s future goals and the 125th anniversary of the club’s history.
"The "ambition è to make history and that means winning trophies. Milan historically has won so much, so our goal è is to return to the top of European soccer, because é Milan belongs to the elite of soccer. We cannot compare ourselves to the Premier League, we have to work in different conditions, be more intelligent and make different moves and that is what we are doing. The aim è to remain who we are and return to the global stage" began the former Swedish striker.
"We give a lot of attention to young people. We want to offer them a platform where they can grow and become top players in Serie A. Only this season we created Milan Futuro, a part of our academy. We strongly believe in it, forò our focus è the first team, so all resources are dedicated to it. This year we are missing some results, but we have multiple new things, and once these new things are perfectly integrated I am sure we will start flying" continued the former Juventus and Inter.
"We will do great things for the 125th anniversary and we have some surprises planned. Milan is part of soccer history. We are just a new generation in this history. I want to thank Berlusconi and Galliani, becauseè we are all here thanks to them. "Since I agreed to stop playing, I am fine. I am at peace with this decision, so I don't miss playing soccer. When I say that sometimes I feel frustrated not being on the field è more because of my experience and what I can do.
