Simone Inzaghi admits it’s a defeat that hurts

Simone Inzaghi doesn't hide his bitterness: "We have to give kudos to Milan who never gave up, then clearly on the 2-1 play we lost a ball when we had to control. We could have gone 3-1 up but Maignan è was good on Carlos and Dumfries, then we got the 2-2 goal and lost it".

"È a defeat that hurts, but this team will get back up; as it has for the last three and a half years. It stings, but we will have to restart in the best way", added the coach of the Nerazzurri.

"How come this drop in concentration? I don't think it affects only Inter but a little bit of all teams, when fatigue comes you lower your intensity. In defense right now I have to applaud because we have few players and the same ones are playing all the time. On 2-1 there was probably even a foul on Asllani, but we had to manage better. We go home with a lot of disappointment, we gave everything but on 2-0 we should have handled it better". 

On Thuram's absence and Calhanoglu's exit: "For sure they are very important, in soccer there are unavoidable players but it should not be our case. We need everyone. Now we are waiting for the defenders to come back as well and they will give us a hand, all teams play a lot and we have to alternate in order not to lose players".
