Davide Tardozzi keeps his guard up

During an interview given to the microphones of the Spanish daily "Marca", Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi, among the various topics discussed, expressed himself bluntly about his feelings a few weeks from the official start of the new MotoGp season. In addition, the blue executive also wanted to dwell on the improvements achieved by Honda and Yamaha, also accomplice to the greater concessions provided by Dorna.

"One of our strengths will be that the satellite teams will be really useful and fast. They will be crucial to the proper development of the factory bike. I expect a very balanced championship, where we will not have to fight against ourselves, but against the teams of the other brands" began the Ducati team manager.

"I have no doubt that our riders will be competitive in every race and for the championship, but I also know our rivals and they are very strong. They have very good riders and engineers, many of them from Ducati, so I think it would be a very big mistake to underestimate them. There will be races that we will not win, so we will have to try to collect as many points as possible, because the championship è more important than trying to win every Gp" added the Ravenna native.

"I think Dorna has made a good decision in granting more concessions to the struggling brands. Yamaha and Honda have shown several signs of improvement in these first official test sessions and it will beà interesting to see what level they will reach at the start of the championship" concluded Davide Tardozzi.
