Together with the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI), FORST Beer awarded for the third time the FORST Award – Best Performance for the 2025/2026 winter season. This year, five outstanding athletes were honored, whose performances are not only extraordinary, but also distinguished by continuity and exemplary value.

FISI President Flavio Roda, South Tyrolean FISI executive Georg Altstätter, along with the FISI athletes, were welcomed at Birra FORST headquarters in a family atmosphere by Cellina von Mannstein, who presented the FORST Award – Best Performance for outstanding sports achievements in the 2025/2026 season.

“The FORST Award – Best Performance is an important sign of recognition for us – a heartfelt thank you for what the athletes give us,” explains Cellina von Mannstein. “Top sports performances create moments of excitement, sharing and enthusiasm, moments in which our brand also best expresses its identity and vitality.”

In a symbolic way, the FORST Award – Best Performance represents the values that characterize Birra FORST: responsibility, authenticity and a close connection to sports. Together with the Italian Winter Sports Federation, the company supports athletes on their journey – from early successes to major international achievements. This partnership is based on trust, perseverance and personal commitment. “Together with FISI, we do excellent work – just as we passionately dedicate ourselves to our products to ensure consistent quality every day,” Cellina von Mannstein explains. “In sports we recognize the same attitude: just as athletes prepare mentally and physically for sporting challenges, we also approach the creation of our brand and our specialty beers with focus, strategy, and passion.”

With the FORST Award – Best Performance, athletes who combine outstanding performance with an exemplary role are honored.

A special part this year is reserved for Dorothea Wierer. Her extraordinary career in biathlon marked an entire era and continues to this day to be a strong source of inspiration for young female athletes and athletes. She represents the values of the great sporting successes of the past and, at the same time, the ability to pass on experience, credibility, and future orientation of the sport.

Emanuel Rieder and Simon Kainzwaldner exemplarily represent this combination of continuity and development. As longtime athletes in artificial track luge, they crowned their performance consistently at the highest level with Olympic victory in doubles, a success based on precision, team spirit, and confidence. For the future of winter sports, Tommy Rabanser and Anna Trocker stand out. As successful young athletes, they embody talent, discipline and great potential.
