Juventus market: Spalletti seeks personality, there's interest in some Real Madrid stars

Building a team of character, capable of withstanding the greatest pressures. This is Juventus’ goal for the new course led on the bench by Luciano Spalletti. The management is moving mainly on profiles coming out of Europe’s top clubs, looking for elements of experience and quality. The task, however, is far from simple: the absence from the next Champions League is complicating the Turin club’s plans, as evidenced by the blunt refusal already received by Bernardo Silva.

Having skipped the track leading to the Portuguese and faded the Liverpool inquiries for Alisson, Robertson and Salah, the attention of the Bianconeri market men has shifted decisively toward Madrid. Real is the club to draw from and the name at the top of the shopping list has become Brahim Diaz. The former AC Milan trequartista has convinced everyone by his ductility and technical leadership, turning into Spalletti’s absolute first choice. Managers Comolli and Ottolini have already taken action to formulate the right economic offer to the blancos.

Always on the Turin-Madrid axis, negotiations are developing for Gonzalo Garcia, a 2004-born striker who showed off his skills in the last World Cup for clubs, while during the season he carved out less space for himself. Real Madrid is open to a transfer, but would like to set up the deal with a formula that includes the right to buy him back in its favor. Juventus is carefully evaluating the operation: in the coach’s tactical plans, the young center forward would represent the ideal partner to flank the starting forward.

Cooler, on the other hand, are the tracks leading to two other disgruntled players in the Madrid squad. David Alaba has been proposed to the management by his entourage, but Juventus does not want to risk the investment because of too many injuries that have affected the defender’s last few seasons. The road is also uphill for Dani Ceballos, held back by an out-of-reach salary and competition from Betis and Ajax. Finally, the idea of Dean Huijsen’s return definitely fades: on the young defender came the absolute veto of José Mourinho, the Merengues’ new coach, who considers him immovable.
