Who is Jeff Ekhator, the Italian striker signed by Juventus? Outgoing transfers: two flops are leaving

Juventus is working to revamp its attack, which was a major disappointment last season. The Bianconeri’s new general manager, Carnevali, is primarily pursuing two avenues to strengthen the offense, while also working on the transfer of two surplus players.
In addition to Kolo Muani (negotiations with PSG are at an advanced stage), the latest name linked to a potential signing is Jeff Ekhator, a 2006-born player from Genoa. He is a promising young talent capable of playing multiple roles on the attacking front. Born in Genoa to Nigerian parents, he developed as a player in Genoa’s youth system, making his professional debut with the club in 2024.
Over the past two years, Ekhator has made 54 appearances in Serie A, scoring 4 goals. He made his senior national team debut last June in a friendly against Greece, following a long stint with the Under-21 squad. Blessed with an imposing physique, he is a center forward who can also play as a winger or second striker thanks to his versatility. He excels at holding up the ball and is skilled in one-on-one situations.
Juventus is ready to offer Genoa 15 million euros, plus the transfer rights of 20-year-old David Puczka, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Genoa is asking for more, but negotiations are underway.
Lois Openda and Arek Milik are certain to leave. The Belgian player has attracted interest from several French and English clubs, but no official offer has been made yet. Management will negotiate the termination of the Polish player’s contract in the coming weeks.
