Basketball League Series A and National Basketball League on the court alongside AIRC Foundation

Lega Basket Serie A and Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro, on March 28 and 29, will take the court alongside AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research for the second edition of the A Canestro per la Ricerca campaign. A choral mobilization that will see players, coaches, technical staff and referees invite fans and enthusiasts to join the great team of those who believe in prevention and research, with the goal of making cancer increasingly curable. A weekend of sports and solidarity, involving all 70 LBA and LNP teams. Coaches and technical staff will wear the AIRC rosette, while captains, during warm-ups, the A Canestro per la Ricerca t-shirt, conscious choices that symbolize support for the AIRC Foundation’s mission. Amplifying the message will be the voice of reporters during live match broadcasts and social content produced and disseminated by LBA, LNP and the teams.

A concrete commitment to support the work of 5,000 AIRC researchers working in 96 mainly public institutions, university laboratories, hospitals and other research centers, with the goal of perfecting increasingly effective treatments for all cancers and studying new tools and strategies for early diagnosis and prevention.
