Antonio Faravelli brings his wines to the banks of the Adda: great success

The indefatigable Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker and golfer from Montù Beccaria, in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese, owner of Cantine Vitea and promoter of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project, was the exclusive protagonist with his wines and his vision related to the revival of Made in Italy at the SWING EXPERIENCE 2026 event. The event was held in the prestigious setting of the Villa Paradiso Golf Club in Cornate d’Adda, a facility nestled between the Adda River and a picturesque wooded hill, just a few minutes from Milan and Bergamo, an ideal context that combines nature, relaxation and sport. Through the “Golf and Wine 1895” brand, which blends sport, culture and tourism, Faravelli continues to bring to the world the best of Italian products, enhancing the excellence of the territory and promoting a lifestyle linked to taste and quality.
This is not the first seasonal appointment for Faravelli within the Swing Experience 2026 circuit. The Pavia-based entrepreneur had already taken part in the previous stages, hosted respectively at Golf Club Le Rovedine and Golf Club Monticello, where Cantine Vitea’s award-winning wines had been highly appreciated by participants. It was a consistent and growing path, which confirmed the circuit’s decision to focus on Cantine Vitea as its exclusive partner for the entire season.
Along with its commitment to the world of golf, Faravelli has demonstrated an increasingly transversal presence in the panorama of Italian excellence. It recently participated as a sponsor in the Banca Generali Trophy at the Golf Club Brianza, where its design attracted great interest, and before that it was exclusively invited to the international HOME event in Pavia, Pavia’s largest reality dedicated to furniture and design, of which Cantine Vitea is official wine. “Made in Italy is fundamental, I often talk about it in my Golf and Wine project and I will do so on this occasion as well,” he had said on that occasion.
The “Golf and Wine 1895” project has been able to gain space outside the strictly sporting and oenological spheres. Faravelli’s wines shone in the spotlight of Infinity Fashion Week, parading among the prestigious locations of the Hotel Principe di Savoia and the Chiostri di San Barnaba in Milan, and then landing at the elegant Hotel Le Marois in Paris. In particular, the Golf and Wine 1895 sparkling wines have established themselves as authentic ambassadors of Italian style, capable of seducing an international audience and winning over prominent personalities from the world of fashion and cinema.
Strengthened by a history of more than a hundred years, Cantine Vitea represents one of the most significant realities of Oltrepò Pavese. The accolades it has received over the years testify to its quality: the winery has received a certificate from the Italian Touring Club’s Vini Buoni d’Italia and has won international awards, including two gold medals in Asia and several medals from Decanter worldwide. Among the flagship labels are Bonarda Gallesio and sparkling wines made from Pinot Noir grapes, wines that in the past even won over the famous composer Giacomo Puccini, a family friend of the Faravellis.
The solidarity dimension is another hallmark of Faravelli’s journey. The entrepreneur was recently exclusively invited to the charity event “I Love Life,” organized by the Milan Oncology Association at the Vigevano Golf Club, bringing his wines and his project in a context of strong ethical and human value. “I could not say no to such an initiative,” commented Faravelli. “Research is very important and can save lives.” A testimony that further enriches the profile of an entrepreneur who is convinced that the golf-wine combination can become a genuine engine of development for the country: “If golf grows, the whole system grows. Let’s play and work together for the good of Italy.”
