Vinitaly: Arianna Fontana in attendance, Sofia Goggia possibly

On the occasion of Vinitaly, the Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini di Valtellina, APF Valtellina and the Consorzio Turistico Sondrio e Valmalenco will organize on Sunday, April 12, at the Consorzio Vini stand (Palaexpo – Lombardy Pavilion), a celebratory moment with Arianna Fontana, the most medaled Italian athlete in Olympic history and recently appointed Brand Ambassador of Valtellina.

During the event, it will be possible to taste a selection of Valtellina wines, meet the champion and experience an occasion designed to tell the story of the link between sport, territory and local identity.

The decision to entrust Arianna Fontana with the role of Brand Ambassador reflects precisely this connection between high-level sports results and territorial roots. A relationship that the Consortium also wanted to emphasize with a special bottle dedicated to the Olympic appointment, a symbol of the strength of the mountains and the light of an out-of-the-ordinary feat.

Other expected VIPs include Sofia Goggia, whose participation, however, remains tied to the Italian ski champion’s schedule commitments. The Azzurra, who took part in the Tricolor rededication ceremony at the Quirinale on Wednesday, plans to take a long break after a busy season.
