Maksimovic moves closer to Napoli

While waiting to try the latest assault for Icardi, Napoli is inching closer to Nikola Maksimovic. The Serbian defender, who has been a target of De Laurentiis for months, was in fact not summoned by technical choice by Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic for the Coppa Italia match scheduled on Saturday against Pro Vercelli.
A decision shrouded in mystery, given that the Serbian coach himself had announced the presence of his compatriot, who was later removed from the list.
This therefore seems to be a clear signal that Napoli’s new offer may have hit the mark: in fact, De Laurentiis seems ready to go up to 27 million between the fixed part (24) and bonuses, surpassing the “historic” ceiling of 25 indicated by Toro president Cairo.
