Nainggolan, door in Conte’s face

Radja Nainggolan once again slams the door in Antonio Conte’s face.

After losing Miralem Pjanic, who flew to Turin to wear the Juventus jersey in the summer, Luciano Spalletti feared he might also lose the Belgian midfielder, courted by several top European clubs.

Instead, the former Cagliari man proved that he is a man of his word by again responding in spades to another rich proposal from Chelsea. As ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ reports, in fact, the English would have put 40 million euros on the table for Roma and 5 million net a year for the player.

Nainggolan, however, preferred to stay in Rome where he is beloved by the Giallorossi fans. For him, in September, after the close of the soccer market, will come the contract renewal expiring in 2020 and salary rising to 4 million net per season.
