Expelled after 5 minutes, horror performance for Japanese man

Saturday to forget for Werder Bremen defender Yukinari Sugawara: the champion played just five minutes in the Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim, then was sent off. The Japanese central player was the protagonist of a very ugly foul against Bazoumana Touré, and referee Storks immediately drew the red card.
Sugawara, dark in the face, apologized to his opponent for the dreadful intervention and headed for the locker room visibly disappointed. A few minutes after the expulsion of the Japanese Daniel Thioune replaced the young striker Salim Musah with defender Isaac Schmidt to rebalance the team but the move did not turn out to be the right one and on 26′ it was Bazoumana Touré himself who scored the winning goal for Hoffenheim.
For Werder Bremen it has been a rather troubled season and the fans expected a completely different performance from the team. At the beginning of the season the coach was Horst Steffen, who had inherited the reins of the formation from Ole Werner, then in early February poor results convinced the management to hand over the technical leadership to Daniel Thioune.
