Sorry and pulled together. Rafael Nadal, after retiring, has begun a new path in his life. It is still unclear what he will do in the future (Boris Becker would see him well as a coach). At the moment, he is happy with the streaming arrival of the docu-series chronicling his tennis career and beyond.

“For me, it’s a realistic combination of what my career has been: incredible and exciting moments, but also a reflection of my daily life, which has often been a race against my body,” his words, to AS, about the series itself.

The Majorcan also spoke about his use of drugs, particularly anti-inflammatories: “Used too many? No, because the alternative was to stop doing what I loved at that moment. I took a lot more anti-inflammatories than I should have.”

To the Gazzetta dello Sport, however, a reflection on Jannik Sinner, the current world number one: “His limit? Life. Life will decide what his ceiling will be. His personality, his motivation, his body, things that cannot be predicted in the future. And then we will see the rivals. At the moment it seems that he has only one which is Carlos (Alcaraz, ed.), the others are far away and this mentally allows you to face everything with more tranquility, then time will tell.” In short, for Rafa Nadal there is only Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, two who have managed to raise the bar more than anyone else, just as the winner of 22 Slam events has done throughout his career.
