Richest sportsmen: there's also Jannik Sinner in the Top 50

For the fourth consecutive year there is Cristiano Ronaldo at the top of the ranking of the world’s highest-paid sportsmen compiled by Forbes. According to the specialized magazine, the Portuguese champion receives 235 million euros in salary to which another 65 million euros should be added from off-field earnings.
In second place in this special ranking is Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez with 170 million euros total earnings, Lionel Messi closes the podium with 140 million euros equally divided: 70 million euros earned from soccer and another 70 from sponsorship contracts.
To find another footballer one has to go down to eighth place occupied by Karim Benzema (100 million euros), before him in order are LeBron James (137.8 million euros), Shohei Ohtani (127.6 million euros), Stephen Curry (124.7 million) and Jon Rahm (107 million euros).
In the Top 50 there is also room for Jannik Sinner, 50th with 54.6 million in earnings (22.6 million from the court and 32 extra-tennis), up slightly from 53.6 million in 2025. Big rival Carlos Alcaraz is 32nd with 61.5 million.
