A spectacular series that, as of yet, does not have a winner. Down 2-3, San Antonio, in front of its own audience, came out on top in Game 6 (118-91 the final). It then goes to Game 7, scheduled in Oklahoma on the night of Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31. It should be remembered that the New York Knicks are already in the finals.

Wembanyama and the Spurs responded to the disappointing 127-114 defeat in Game 5 with their most scintillating performance in this up-and-down series. An excellent performance by the French all-star who finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds and three wicks.

“Playing with desperation seems to erase all the little mistakes we make, which are in human nature, both in the regular season and in previous games. You have to constantly fight when your back is against the wall. It seems like that’s how we give it our all,” Wembanyama’s words reported by ESPN.

Mastica loved OKC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was limited to just 15 points (still the Thunder’s best scorer), with only six baskets from the field on as many as 18 attempts for the two-time MVP. Disastrous especially in shooting from three with zero baskets on five attempts. “I thought we were ready to play. I was confident before the game and I was confident at halftime. There was all the makings of an away win if we had been the ones to give the blowout in the third quarter; instead, they ran away,” the thought of Daigneault, OKC’s coach.
