Juventus Transfer Market: Andrea Cambiaso Sought After by Three Top European Clubs; Two Names in the Running to Replace Him

Juventus is at the center of a series of transfers among European clubs involving a specific position on the field: left-backs. The arrival of Marc Cucurella at Real Madrid has, in fact, set off a domino effect that directly involves Andrea Cambiaso, one of the most sought-after players at the moment. The Bianconeri full-back is being closely monitored by Atlético Madrid, Chelsea, and Barcelona, clubs that are considering a major investment to strengthen their left flank.
The Colchoneros and the London Blues, as reported by ‘Sportitalia’, have already firmly tested the waters, even though the player has reportedly expressed a preference for Barça. Cambiaso, in fact, had initial contact with the Blaugrana at the end of the season and continues to view Camp Nou as his ideal destination. For this reason, he has decided to put all negotiations on hold for the time being, waiting for the Catalan club to clarify its intentions.
The Italian international is one of the most sought-after fullbacks on the market. Last summer, he was close to joining Manchester City at Pep Guardiola’s direct request, but the deal fell through because the Manchester club failed to reach an agreement with Juventus. Now, with Juventus out of the Champions League, the club has opened up to the possibility of a sale and is considering offers starting at 35 million euros, though it remains open to negotiation.
Barcelona has been monitoring him for months: Cambiaso is on the list of potential reinforcements, especially should Alejandro Balde leave Catalonia. At the moment, however, everything suggests that Balde will stay, barring any out-of-market offers, despite his limited playing time last season and the fact that Hansi Flick does not consider him a regular starter. The Blaugrana’s priority remains securing Joao Cancelo, who played on loan from Al-Hilal last season, but Cambiaso’s name remains on their radar.
Meanwhile, at Juventus, the club is also considering alternatives in case Cambiaso’s transfer goes through. Among the players being monitored is an Atletico player, Matteo Ruggeri, a concrete target for the left flank and considered one of the most reliable Italian fullbacks of the new generation. ‘CorSport’ also reports interest in Lazio’s Nuno Tavares, a highly sought-after option who has already been linked to the Bianconeri on several occasions: a player with different characteristics but highly regarded for his athleticism and ability to cover the entire flank.
