Juve Transfer Market: Two Midfielders Ask for a Pay Cut

The former Atalanta and Milan player has reportedly expressed interest in a move to Juventus, but the main obstacle remains financial. The Ivorian midfielder is reportedly seeking a three-year contract worth more than 5 million euros net per season, in addition to a substantial signing bonus.

A similar situation involves Leon Goretzka, whose contract is also set to expire. According to reports, the German’s representatives have requested a signing bonus of approximately 10 million euros and a net salary of 7 million euros per season. Juventus considers these figures very high and is also taking into account the midfielder’s age—he will turn 32 in February.
