Juventus management continues to work on strengthening the midfield, and there are several players under consideration, including those whose contracts are expiring, potential transfer opportunities, and more complex negotiations.

Among the names still in the mix is Franck Kessié, who is a free agent following the conclusion of his stint with Al Ahli. The former Atalanta and Milan player has reportedly expressed interest in a move to Juventus, but the main obstacle remains financial. The Ivorian midfielder is reportedly seeking a three-year contract worth more than 5 million euros net per season, in addition to a substantial signing bonus.

A similar situation involves Leon Goretzka, whose contract is also set to expire. According to reports, the German’s representatives have requested a signing bonus of approximately 10 million euros and a net salary of 7 million euros per season. Juventus considers these figures very high and is also taking into account the midfielder’s age—he will turn 32 in February.
