Filippo Baldi Rossi; VL Pesaro is also in the mix
VL Pesaro continues to be active in the transfer market in search of a power forward to round out its frontcourt. Among the players the Marche-based club has set its sights on is Filippo Baldi Rossi, a veteran born in 1991 who is coming off a promotion to Serie A2 with Scaligera Verona.
Last season, the experienced power forward made a significant contribution to the Verona team’s promotion, averaging 8.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. These numbers confirm the reliability and experience of a player capable of providing stability on both ends of the court.
According to a report by Il Resto del Carlino (Pesaro edition), Baldi Rossi is reportedly one of the candidates to fill one of the two available power forward spots on the Biancorossi roster.
Born in 1991 in Vignola, in the province of Modena, Filippo Baldi Rossi made his senior debut during the 2009-2009 season with Virtus Bologna, the club where he had previously come up through the youth ranks. He also played for teams in Perugia, Turin, and Trento before returning to Virtus from 2017 to 2020; after leaving the “Vu Nere,” he played for Reggio Emilia, Cantù, and Verona.
