Mom Siglinde, Jannik Sinner noticed everything

Thanks to his spectacular victory over Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner was crowned Wimbledon champion for the second consecutive year. The South Tyrolean managed to defeat the German after a grueling battle that lasted over three and a half hours.
Although he was obviously focused on his match against Zverev, nothing escaped Jannik Sinner’s notice: “I saw my mom come out a couple of times,” he said after the match.
“We both got off to a great start and were serving really fast. We were as prepared as we could be,” continued the world No. 1. “It was a wonderful final; it takes two to play, and we gave it our all.”
“I’m happy about the victory, but also about the level at which we played. There’s no better place to play tennis; you can feel the nerves when you wake up in the morning: it’s a special day, and you don’t know when you’ll be able to come back. You have to give it your all—it’s been two wonderful weeks. The crowd gave me the best feelings a tennis player can experience,” Sinner concluded.
