Jannik Sinner Gives a Lecture to the Royal Family

An extraordinary Jannik Sinner managed to triumph for the second consecutive time at Wimbledon. The Italian defeated Alexander Zverev in the tournament final after a battle that lasted over three and a half hours.
After his victory and a brief on-court interview, Jannik Sinner headed toward the locker room and encountered members of the royal family in the tunnel. Cameras captured the South Tyrolean chatting with Prince William, Kate, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.
In addition to the congratulations and formal greetings, the Italian exchanged a few words with Prince William, who seemed particularly interested in what Sinner had to say.
““It’s hard to speak right now; after Paris, we worked so hard and had endless days in Monaco,” Sinner told Sky. “I’m giving my all to this sport—I didn’t think I’d be able to win Wimbledon again. Everyone around me has so much faith in me, and I’m happy about that.”
