Olimpia Milano Transfer Market: Lorenzo Brown Is Still Under Contract—What Now?

Armani Olimpia Milano has been very active in the transfer market. It has replaced every departing player with high-caliber players, but there is still one issue to resolve: Lorenzo Brown’s contract.
The 35-year-old American point guard, in fact, is still under contract with the red-and-white club for the entire upcoming season. As if that weren’t enough, the former Panathinaikos player’s salary is substantial (rumored to be over one million euros).
Coach Peppe Poeta does not consider him a player the team can rely on for the 2026–27 season. In fact, as early as last year, starting in January, Lorenzo Brown had been sidelined from the Milanese project.
Brown himself recently stated that he still feels like a player and wants to play for another two or three years. This suggests a termination of his contract with Armani Olimpia Milano. However, that termination has not yet been officially finalized. The goal is to resolve this issue before the start of the Biancorossi’s training camp on August 17.
