Inter Transfer Market: A New Chapter Away from Europe for the Former Nerazzurri Striker

After 18 years, Alexis Sánchez is leaving Europe and heading to North America. The Chilean forward, who arrived in Europe in 2008 with Udinese—which had signed him from River Plate—has chosen Canada for the next chapter in his long career.

The 37-year-old, fresh off his stint with Sevilla and currently a free agent, has signed a one-year contract with Montreal that includes an option for the 2027–28 season. This is a new challenge that Sánchez is taking on with great enthusiasm, bringing all the experience he has gained at the highest levels of European soccer to the Canadian club.
