2026-27 Serie A: How Juventus Would Line Up Today

There are just a few days left until the start of the season: Juventus will face Frosinone on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. with a squad that has been significantly revamped compared to last season. Four new signings who bolstered Luciano Spalletti’s roster this summer could make their debuts from the start against Frosinone.
The first change is in goal: Guglielmo Vicario will take over the starting spot from Michele Di Gregorio, with Mattia Perin as his backup. In defense, the big news is Jhon Lucumí, who arrived from Bologna: the Colombian will play alongside Gleison Bremer, while Kalulu (or Celik) and Cambiaso will man the flanks.
In midfield, the Locatelli-Kephren Thuram pairing appears set for now: this is an area of the field that Spalletti intends to strengthen with a top-tier player (Kessié is the front-runner).
In the attacking midfield, with the addition of Alajbegovic, Spalletti has more options: the Bosnian star can serve as a backup for either Conceiçao or Yildiz, or play alongside both in the attacking midfield trio, moving the Turkish player behind the lone striker. A more cautious approach, however, would be to start McKennie, with Alajbegovic initially on the bench.
Up front, Kolo Muani will be the center forward, while Jonathan David is currently his backup.
Juventus, possible lineup (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Kalulu, Bremer, Lucumí, Cambiaso; Locatelli, Thuram; Conceiçao, Yildiz, Alajbegovic; Kolo Muani.
