Transfer Market: Two Offers from Serie A for Mauro Icardi

Mauro Icardi, still a free agent following his departure from Galatasaray, will decide his future shortly. The Argentine forward is being courted by several European clubs, and four concrete offers have landed on his desk, including two from Italy.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio and Parma have made their proposals to the former Inter captain. Maurito has long been on the radar of Lazio’s sporting director Fabiani, who—after signing Pinamonti and Gudmundsson—wants to give Gennaro Gattuso a top-tier reinforcement up front.

In Italy, Parma has also set its sights on him: Carlos Cuesta needs a goal-scorer up front, and in Emilia, Icardi would certainly become the team’s top attraction and focal point. In addition to Serie A clubs, the player is also being tracked in Greece, with PAOK Thessaloniki and Olympiacos particularly active.
