2026-2027 Serie A: Genoa vs. Fiorentina, Probable Lineups

Genoa and Fiorentina take the field at 3 p.m. at Marassi in the match that marks the resumption of the Serie A season after the international break. The Grifone are in need of points, having earned just one in their first five games: De Rossi’s job is more in jeopardy than ever. The Viola, who have already replaced their coach with the arrival of Vanoli, are coming off a home draw against Napoli and currently sit fourth from the bottom.

De Rossi will be without Colombo: either Messias or Vitinha will start up front alongside Osmajic. In midfield, the trio of Frendrup, Sow, and Baldanzi will start, while Ehizibue and Ellertsson will operate on the wings. The defensive trio consists of Marcandalli, Ostigard, and Vasquez.

Vanoli is expected to start Mastantuono from the 1st minute despite his midweek commitments with Argentina, while Pellegrino is expected to lead the attack, preferred over Beto. There’s also a battle for the left wing, where Pedro Goncalves has the edge over Njie. In midfield, Fagioli will play as the playmaker with Ndour and Atta flanking him.
