2026-2027 Serie A: Napoli vs. Frosinone, Probable Lineups

Napoli and Frosinone will face off at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Maradona Stadium in a match for the sixth round of the Serie A season. Massimiliano Allegri’s Azzurri had managed to scrape together only 4 points in their last 4 games before the break, and now they need to step up their game to close the gap on the top of the table (currently 6 points away); Alvini’s Ciociari were the surprise of the early season alongside Cagliari and currently sit in sixth place with 10 points. In their last match, they secured a home win against Como.
Allegri is expected to stick with a four-man defense: Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Marín, and Spinazzola in front of Meret. Gilmour and Lobotka will be the two central midfielders, while De Bruyne, Neres, and Lang will play behind lone striker Hojlund, who has edged out Lucca for the starting spot. McTominay is also available and is expected to start on the bench and come on during the second half.
Frosinone faces an emergency up front: Alvini is without Raimondo and Birligea and will therefore have to rely on Bobcek, making his first start. Kvernadze, Ghedjemis, and Schmid are the three attacking midfielders, with Calò and Masini in the center of the midfield. Oyono and Bracaglia will play on the wings.
