The 12:30 p.m. match between Napoli and Lazio, part of the 10th round of Serie A, ended in a 1-1 draw: Allegri’s team bounced back from a rough patch but couldn’t get past the league leaders, who took the lead through Frattesi but were pegged back in the second half by an own goal from Pedraza. In the standings, Lazio remains in first place with 29 points, while Napoli sits in tenth with 15.

Lazio had the better of the first half at the Maradona Stadium: Gattuso’s team confirmed its impressive form and created a string of chances through Noslin and Isaksen. In the 28th minute, the Biancocelesti struck on a counterattack: After a great run down the wing, Noslin set up Frattesi, who beat Beukema and fired past Milinkovic-Savic at the near post. Allegri’s team struggled to create danger, but in the 42nd minute, they had a huge chance with Hojlund, only for Mandas to deny him.

Early in the second half, the home team equalized: in the 38th minute, Lang found McTominay in the box, who turned and shot toward the goal, but Pedraza deflected the ball decisively into his own net. Napoli’s equalizer shifted the momentum of the match: Lazio grew nervous and dropped back, and the Azzurri had several chances to take the lead.

McTominay nearly doubled the lead right away; in the 58th minute, Olivera missed a chance, and a minute later, Belahyane saved the day on the goal line by clearing De Bruyne’s shot. Gattuso brings on Lazzari and Dele-Bashiru, while Allegri sends in Anguissa, Lucca, and Politano. Napoli persistently pushes for the win, with Giovane, Lucca, and McTominay all trying their luck—but to no avail. The match ends 1-1.
