Delicate match the one scheduled at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Kohr at 8 p.m. Italian time on Thursday, Dec. 1: Four-time world champions Germany, led by Hansi Flick, will face Costa Rica.

The Germans are obliged to win to hope to snatch a pass to the round of 16. The technical commissioner of the Teutonic national team could opt for some changes among the starters: in fact, Fullkrug, in goal against Spain, Sané and Goretzka could make their debut from the first minute. Among Germany’s ranks, however, fullback Raum will be missing due to a rib injury.

Suarez’s Costa Rica will play its cards with the 5-3-2 already seen in the victory against Japan, after the very heavy opening defeat against Spain 7-0.
