Olimpia Milano, the list of unavailable for Ettore Messina gets longer
The list of unavailable players ahead of the challenge with Reggio Emilia grows longer
Bad news for Olimpia Milano and for Ettore Messina, who in the game against Reggio Emilia, valid for the tenth day of the Italian basketball top league, will have to do without two important pawns in his rotations, who join the already injured Shields, Pangos and Datome.
The other two players in the pits for the Milanese team are Nicolò Melli, out due to a sprained ankle suffered in Oaka’s loss to Panathinaikos in the Euroleague’s Week 12 match, and Kyle Hines, who had already complained of pain in his right hand before the challenge against Dejan Radonjic’s men.
Last season, Ettore Messina’s team came back to win the Scudetto, unseating Virtus Segafredo Bologna. The red-and-whites, who had finished in second place in the regular season right behind Sergio Scariolo’s team, immediately brought the court factor to their side in the final series and never let the Felsinians catch them again. In the Euroleague, Sergio Rodriguez (who said goodbye to the Red Shoes in the summer to return to Spain) and his teammates were eliminated by Ergin Ataman’s Anadolu Efes, who would win the tournament for the second year in a row.
