NFL: now it’s official: Bengals-Bills will not be made up
Buffalo safety is showing encouraging improvement
As reported by ESPN, it is now official. The NFL Bengals-Bills regular season game, which was interrupted last Monday due to the serious injury to Damar Hamlin, will not be made up. The two franchises, already qualified for the postseason, will end the regular season with one less game.
“This has been a very difficult week. We continue to focus on the recovery of Damar Hamlin, and we are happy for the news about the improvement in his condition, as well as from the tremendous support and assistance for Damar and his family from across the country. We also want to highlight the incredible work of the medical staff and commend each and every one of them,” said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
