Good news for Martina Navratilova: “As far as the doctors know, I am cured of cancer.”

“I panicked for three days when I found out, thinking that I might not see next Christmas,” the former tennis player revealed to British journalist Piers Morgan of TalkTV. “Now, after two more weeks of preventive radiotherapy, I will be free to go.

“It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Navratilova concluded.

The term WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) refers to that association that brings together all female professional tennis players from all corners of the world.

The WTA, like the ATP, has as its main objective the organization and management of all WTA events, as well as the compilation of the ranking, called the WTA ranking.
