Another acquittal after the defeat in Paris.

Jannik Sinner gathers another show of solidarity after his bitter elimination from Roland Garros at the hands of Daniel Altmaier. In fact, in addition to Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas also wanted to emphasize that the South Tyrolean’s knockout should not represent too heavy a crossroads in his season or even his career.

“Slams always present and will always present even upsetting results. In the first round it is quite common for it to happen, especially in Grand Slam tournaments,” Tsitsipas stressed. “It can happen to everyone, even to the top seeds or players who are in the top ten of the ATP ranking.

“Perhaps what is most surprising is the fact that it is really happening to everyone. Lately it has happened to most of us, so we have to learn a way to avoid these situations. Also because some people need more time to get into the game and adjust to the tennis our opponents are offering,” Tsitsipas added.

The Greek will face Sebastian Ofner in the round of 16 at Roland Garros scheduled for Sunday. In the next round, should he win, Tsitsipas is instead expected to play a tantalizing match against the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti.
