Genoa, Aaron Martin on the way: no to Torino and Bologna
Aaron Martin is about to move to Genoa in Italy. The Spanish defender, who in a few days will be released on a zero-parameter basis from Mainz, has reportedly reached an agreement with the Grifone on the basis of a three-year contract worth €1 million per season, with an option for a fourth year, according to Sky reports.
The agreement is not yet official but the odds of his arrival have risen a lot in the last hours after Bologna and Torino, also interested in the player, stopped.
Twenty-six years old, Martin has worn the shirts of Espanyol, Mainz and Celta Vigo in his career. The Iberian full-back won the Under-19 and Under-21 European Championships with the Spanish national team.
