Yamaha, decided on Franco Morbidelli’s replacement
Yamaha has chosen Alex Rins to replace Franco Morbidelli from 2024. According to Sky reports, the Spanish rider, due to expire at the end of 2024 with Honda, could leave the Japanese stable early because there is an exit clause in his contract in case of a call from an official team.
Rins, who is currently recovering from an injury, also does not believe he has received official rider treatment from Honda, as stipulated in his contract. In his place in the Lcr team could land Johann Zarco, should Marco Bezzecchi move to the Pramac team.
For Franco Morbidelli, a future in the Ducati Gresini team is possible, replacing Fabio Di Giannantonio.
