F1, Gp Hungary: FP2 to Charles Leclerc, bad Red Bull
F1 Gp Hungary: Charles Leclerc ahead of everyone, bad Red Bull and Mercedes
After finishing seventh in the first free practice session, Charles Leclerc set the fastest time in FP2 in 1:17.686. The Ferrari driver was ahead of Lando Norris (McLaren) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine), with a gap of 15 and 232 thousandths, respectively.
Rounding out the top 10 are Yuki Tsunoda (Alpha Tauri), Esteban Ocon (Alpine), Nico Hulkenberg (Haas), Valtteri Bottas (Alfa Romeo), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Guanyu Zhou (Alfa Romeo) and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari).
A day to forget, however, for Red Bull, with Max Verstappen not going beyond the 11th time and Sergio Perez placing 18th after an accident in FP1. Second session was also bad for Mercedes with Hamilton not going beyond 16th place. 20th time, however, for FP1 leader George Russell.
