After striking Mateo Retegui in attack, Genoa immediately signs another one, this time in midfield. In fact, the Grifone has made official the arrival on loan from Union Berlin with a conditional purchase obligation of Morten Thorsby.

“Morten Thorsby is a new Genoa player. Born in Oslo on 5/5/1996, the Norwegian midfielder arrives in Rossoblù from the Germans of Union Berlin on a loan deal with conditional purchase obligation. Welcome!” reads the statement issued by the Ligurian club.

The Norwegian midfielder, who played last season with the Union Berlin jersey in which he totaled 34 appearances topped by a goal and an assist, returns to Italy after his adventure at Sampdoria, where he played for three seasons.
