Ferrari, Frederic Vasseur wants to capitalize on the trend in Singapore
The words of Frederic Vasseur
After the encouraging performance in the Italian Grand Prix, in Monza, with Carlos Sainz’s third place, ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc, Ferrari does not want to stop in the Singapore Grand Prix, scheduled for the weekend.
Team principal Frederic Vasseur spoke this way to the official channels of the Maranello-based stable, ahead of the Marina Bay race: "We are returning to the track on a different circuit from Monza: in fact, the Marina Bay track requires great aerodynamic load and a car that is effective in traction and well balanced to allow the drivers to have the right confidence between the walls".
"Since it is a city track, the driver in Singapore can" make a bigger difference: we have prepared the race in the best way possible in the simulator and we will put Carlos and Charles in a position to run as much as possible, trying to maximize the potential of the SF-23 – he then stressed -. We are coming back from an exciting race in Monza, we want to continue this positive trend and collect a good haul of points in Singapore".
