Settebello knocked out but in the quarters

Group B for the Settebello ended with a defeat. The Azzurri, in fact, surrendered to Hungary, which è imposed itself with a net 10-5 on the fifth day of the European Championships in Croatia. Despite the defeat, Italy still qualified for the quarterfinals, but from second due to goal difference.

“We played a bad game making a lot of mistakes, especially in the final phase,‖ stressed coach Alessandro Campagna. But I would repeat the choices made.
